We chatting with Wolf from I Love New York 2. What’s been
going on with you since the show has ended?

Wolf: Since the show, I’ve been doing a couple club
appearances and other than that I’ve been in school, doing my
degree thing. That’s basically it.

What are you studying?

Wolf: Pre-med

Wow, that’s whats up. So what sparked your interest to try
out for I Love New York Season 2?

Wolf: I was on the internet one day, and I seen they had some
auditions and I thought she looked pretty good, so I wanted to
see if I could hook up with her.

So you knew what you were getting yourself into, since you’ve
seen the prior season. You knew it was about love, so how did
they have everything set up?

Wolf: I knew it was about love, and let the best man win, or
whoever she  thought was the best man for her. I just went on
there to hook up with New York and everything was good.

So now that they show is over, do you feel that you lucked up
in the end, or are you mad you didn’t win?

Wolf: I’m alright with myself. We didn’t hit it off like I thought we
would, it was good being on there and spending time with her
and that was cool. I’m not mad that I didn’t win.

So we now a lot of people go on these shows to get their “15
minutes of fame”, who in the house do you think was really
there for her, and also what was your real intentions?

Wolf: Being in the house it looked like the guys were there for
her, but then it’s like when they didn’t get their chance, they may
have liked her at first. I mean it seemed like some were there for
themselves, for whatever they was trying to do, if it was music,
fashion, or just to be on TV and be known, hook up with some
chicks in the club or something.

Where are you originally from?

Wolf: I am from Midway, Texas in between Houston and Dallas.

Where are you currently living?

Wolf: Right now I am here in LA.

What other ventures have you entered since the show?

Wolf: I’m a musician/producer, and working on a CD right now.
That’s really what I like doing, I love music.

So you are like an engineer?

Wolf: I’m the producer, the engineer, and the rapper. I do all of
that, I make my own beats, write my own lyrics.

Oh ok, so when can we expect that hit single from you then?

Wolf: I’m about to go to the library – I usually get the internet
here, but I cant get a signal – and put it on my MySpace.
myspace.com/gmh25 I got a couple songs I’m gonna let the
world hear, give em some good music.

Who would you compare yourself too lyrically?

Wolf: I would compare myself lyrically to Scarface.

Wow, okay, and your like a one man band.

Wolf: Actually it was me and my 2 other brothers, but they don’t
like out here. So its just been me, and I work on a beat and send
it to them, and they’ll write their lyrics. The name of the group is
called The Brothers

How do you feel about today’s music industry,  compared to
what it used to be 10 years ago?

Wolf: How I think the music industry changed, now all the
rappers, rap about what they got, they like salesmen. I just rap
about real stuff, like growing up, not just saying where I’m from.
Random stuff that people don’t think about no more. Plus my
beats are good, I got club beats, though I don’t rap about the
club and cars, I just rap about real life.

Since you are your own producer, do you only produce for
yourself, or would you work with other rappers out there too?
Wolf: I wouldn’t mind working with somebody else, I’m selling
them too. I’m always open with suggestions and letting people
hear them, to critique them. You can always learn something
from somebody.

What collaboration could you see yourself on, or for your
upcoming album?

Wolf: Coming out, honestly I think I am good enough with just
me and my brothers, I don’t need somebody to work with.
Honestly I would work with anybody, as long as its good music
though. It’s no one in mind that I’m like oh I want him, it’s just
who ever. Give me anybody and we’ll make some good music.

So do you and your brother have your own label, or are you
looking to get with a major label?

Wolf: We got our own label, its called MPC. It was our little group
when we was growing up. When I was in the country, everybody
had their own little cliques. But we just independent, not looking
to get sign. I started out making music just for me, and people
wanted to hear it, so I’m gonna put it out there and let them hear
it. But I wasn’t looking to get signed by a big label. If someone
do want to sign me then that’s all good, but I just like making
music. Like people like eating, I like making music.

Did you speak about your music craft on the show, or no one
knew you were a musician?

Wolf: I didn’t speak about it, but when we were in the house, I
don’t know if you remember It? He used to do a lot of rapping,
and I’d give him a beat. I didn’t go around purposely boasting
that I was a rapper. I didn’t see how that was going to help me
with my woman.

Do you keep in touch with anyone from the show?

Wolf: I talk to Buddha every now and then, cause he lives out
here in LA too. I see him out sometime, or I’ll call him up, and
we’ll go out. I talk to It, and the Entertainer, on and off, and
Knockout, that’s about it.

Is there anyone you couldn’t stand from the show? Either you
couldn’t wait for them to get kicked off, or you left or the show
to be over?

Wolf: No, I’m really a people person.  I like being around all
types of people, so I didn’t dislike anybody. Everybody was cool
to me.

What about Sister Patterson?

Wolf: I did have a problem with her. She didn’t have nothing nice
to say, and every time she opened her mouth it was fighting
words.

You think she is just overprotective because New York is her
daughter, or is it that she just don’t know when to say when,
and everything is nasty that comes out her mouth?

Wolf: I think its both.

When people see you out, do they constantly approach you
about the show? Is it a point where you want to look pass this?

Wolf: No it doesn’t bother me, every time I go out people say hey
what’s up Wolf, take a picture, or give somebody a hug. I don’t
mind it,  I don’t want it to stop.

Could you see yourself doing another reality show?

Wolf: Yea, I cant really talk about it but I am about to do another
reality show with VH1. I’m not the lead guy, but its another reality
show they are shooting. They haven’t told me nothing, so I cant
tell you nothing. I don’t know where its go be, or what we go be
doing. It something like a challenge, with some of the guys and
some of the girls and we going to do another reality show. I’ll be
working on that this weekend.

Do you know when it will air?

Wolf: I think it will come out this summer, like May or June.

We will definitely check for that. What else are you working on
in the near future besides the music, reality show, and
finishing med school? How much longer you have left in
school?

Wolf: I got 2 years left, but I am going to take this semester off to
do this reality show. Might as well have a little fun while you
young.

That’s what’s up, I want to thank you for your time. We will be
checking out your MySpace page to hear your music, and
keeping abreast of your future ventures, including the new
reality show you start this weekend.
